My approach
I am creative, strategic, and innovative, bringing an ability to see and build connections across work, people and systems. I am driven by a desire for a more gender just world and believe that this can only be achieved by working in partnership with others.
My work is grounded in feminist principles of participation, inclusion, co-design, and meaningful engagement. This means:
My background
My academic background is in social anthropology and I have a Master's in human rights. I began my career in influencing and girl and youth collective action, from community organising with Amnesty UK to UN-level advocacy with Nike Foundation and Plan International. This developed into programming and, more recently, grant-making experience through my time as a consultant and with Plan International.
I have worked with community based organisations, NGOs, international NGOs and philanthropic organisations in the UK and internationally, including living and working in Latin America, which has given me working level proficiency in Spanish. This includes 4.5 years at Plan International where I built and led the Youth Movements team. I designed a 5-year youth collective action strategy and oversaw several girl and youth programmes and grant-making initiatives.
I am excited about the prospect of working with different types of organisations and applying an intersectional feminist lens to new projects. I’m also looking forward to the freedom to carve out more time to do the things that bring me joy.

"Georgia is an excellent facilitator, connector and problem solver, and an all round joy to work with. She has that oft illusive ability to hold collective processes that bring in multiple voices, whilst staying clear on the task and driving towards strategic outcomes. She works from a place of deep belief in, and commitment to, girls and young feminist autonomous organising, with a clarity about her role as an adult ally to move resources and decision making power directly to them. I cannot recommend Georgia enough"
"I am always so excited to jump on projects with Georgia. Beyond her natural charisma, brilliant work ethic and mindfulness of every relevant detail, she brings a rare kind of sensitivity to power dynamics among diverse stakeholders. One thing that really stands out in her approach to participatory engagements is her ability make space for quieter voices and safeguard a conducive environment for true co-creation. From working with her over the past two years, Georgia has challenged me to ask the right questions about data and to be more intentional about engaging with young people. She is that person you need to have on your team when you are looking to do thorough, impactful, and non-extractive feminist work, especially with/for adolescent girls and young people in all their diversity."
“I worked with Georgia for three years at Plan International’s Global Hub where she was deeply respected for her knowledge and technical expertise. Georgia is a highly effective advocate for meaningful youth participation and promoting the power of young feminist collective action. She’s a leader and natural networker, spotting connections between partners and areas of work and bringing ideas and collaborations to life. She’s driven by feminist principles and is a champion for sharing power and collective self-care in particular. It was a privilege to work with and learn from her.”
"I worked with Georgia to design Equality Accelerator, a girl and youth funding platform and community. Georgia led the Equality Accelerator project from Plan's side - from inception to design and then overseeing its implementation.
She brings a brilliant blend of leadership and expertise in co-designing impactful, safe girl centred programmes, and at the same time, being open minded, willing to learn, innovate and take risks.
I highly recommend Georgia. She is a joy to collaborate with."
